  • I just bought iMDeduper and it seems to really be a fantastic product.. I've been building a music collection now for 5-7 years. I've probably got somewhere around 12,000+ Library (but it's totally all messed up). In the last year I've got a program (Radio GaGa) that records song from Internet Radio Stations. I can like record 15-20 stations at a time. So I can collect like several thousand song if I record for 12++ hrs. .. To make a long story short I get a lot of duplicates of varying bit-rates ETC. and your product really saves me many many hours of TEDIUS work.

  • Works as advertised. I have a HUGE iTunes library, and when I consolidated with my partner, we ended up with dupes, and then due to a backup miscalc, even more.

    So I needed to find a tool to remove dupes.

    I started trying to use TidySongs, which as near as I can tell (unless I\'m missing something), cannot distinguish between two tracks with the same name but different length on the same album (eg. two different versions of the same song). Their tech support told me that while the trial version does not do this, the paid version does, and so I suspect I\'ve just been duped into buying, as I paid, and it doesn\'t seem to do this.

    So, I found your app, and it worked completely perfectly as expected - allowed me fine grained choice on what to remove, and did it without a hiccup. The way you handle the \"select all versions except keep one) for dupes is completely straightforward - nice.

  • great app. it is weird how I ended up with duplicates in itunes. ? I am not sure exactly how that happened. why wouldn't itunes have a "do you want to import duplicate files" option like iphoto? again. great app. many thanks- neat little app deleted 2000 songs in a snap.

  • I stupidly added duplicate files to my iTunes which increased my database. iMDeduper deleted 5,825 duplicate files in 5 minutes. ahhhhh... totally worth the money.
